Hello everyone. Hope you are enjoying your respective holidays and celebrations.

NDR question: one of my clients is experiencing a high number of their outbound emails landing in recipients’ spam folders when the client responds to email notifications generated from their online form plugin (Contact Form 7). In your experience, would moving to a new form plugin like WP Forms make a difference?

Thanks so much for your insights and recommendations.

I could be wrong, though, switching from Contact Form 7 to WP Forms doesn’t fix the spam folder issue. It could be an issue with the email provider itself.

You want to make sure that you use an SMTP plugin for mail. Also, check the DMARC, DKIM, etc. mail settings in your host’s DNS settings. These will give your email legitimacy. Also make sure you are sending emails from the same domain as the form is located. Using gmail or other email addresses like that is not suggested.
