        Hi, I just bought the EDI and I thought it would make a child theme out of my current content (which is built upon divi theme not divi child theme). Found out that that was not the case. I have not been able to make a php file in my VS code editor for some reason so I thought I could skip the phase with EDI. So my question is now, if I download my current site as a layout kit, reset and install a fresh blank wp istallation on my site, install a blank child theme there, export the layout kit that i just saved and then would be able to make a child theme import package out of that site? So that someone else can then install that site as a child theme with all its content? Just want to make sure 🤓

          Hello! No need to go through all of that. If you install a simple/empty child theme now it will not modify your content or undo any work you have done.

          There are a few free generators online, or downloadable blank child themes. I’ll get you a link to download mine in a bit.
