  Help: I have a copywritier that has created layout pages. She uses Divi and they are .json files. When I try to import them it says, “This file should not be imported in this context”. Thanks in advance from a newbie.

  Are you importing them into the Divi library or directly into a page? Try the opposite of what you’re doing

  How are you importing them? It’s either in the Divi Library or in the Theme Builder. One of them should work for you. Tried the other?

    I have tried to upload them from the Divi Library. I will watch the tutorial how to add through Theme Builder. Thanks!

      @maureen tip. Open the json file and it will tell you where it came from near the top

  Look at the first line on the Json in a text editor. Those files are only intended to be imported in the same way they were exported.
  
  They could be imported via the page builder, theme builder or divi library
  
  The top line of the json file will tell you the correct “context”

  This question is asked so often, not sure why Divi don’t improve the information given in the error notices to explain this. It would be better a User Experience and cause less confusion for people 🤷🏻‍♀️ #featurerequest
