I used to spend too much time getting depressed on https://www.awwwards.com/ because they are way beyond my skill set, until I came to terms with the understanding that those just aren’t the sites I am building for my clients… Alot of them are pretty amazing, tho…

Here is something I do when I need design inspiration.
Say I have a fine dining restaurant site. I will note the category and first do a theme Forrest search to see if anything tickles my interest. Then I will do a google search for specific cities in this category and find sites that may have a section or footer or whatever else and take screen shots. Once I have about 3-6 shots of a rough direction, I can then go over the hero shot ideas, logo, and menu hierarchy and begin to put the first remnants of a homepage together

@maureen I agree. Lots of places to find inspiration. My comment a specific observation about Divi’s layouts. Divi markets them as “World-class designs with original photos and graphics available for free to all Divi customers”. Having not looked at Divi’s library in a long time, I thought I’d check it out for anything new and interesting and came up empty, as usual. They just don’t compare to some of the themes and layouts I’ve seen for Elementor.
