Just because that resolves the issue doesnt mean it’s the cause. As I said, your font (Gustavson) is loaded from your Child Theme and delivered via your CDN – it’s not related to Divi.
When you clear Divi’s CSS it also triggers most caching plugins to clear their caches as well. So what’s most likely occurring here is that you are inadvertently clearing your Optimal cache, which in turn triggers the CDN to refresh its stored data.
I thin the actual issue stems from your CDN cache expiring and not refreshing. It looks like a misconfigured, or incompletely configured CDN issue to me.
