    @anita, I don’t know if this will help, but maybe clearing all caches might make a difference?

    1. If you use a caching plugin, clear its cache.
    2, Go to Divi > Theme Options > Builder > Advanced > Static CSS File Generation > Clear.
    3. Delete the entire folder /wp-content/et-cache (Divi will regenerate it).
    4. If your host supports server-level caching, clear its cache.
    5. Clear your browser’s cache.

    It probably won’t help, but it’s worth a try.

    If it recurs, please find the range of times when the offending files were created, and see if you can spot any sort of correlation with whatever plugins you use. Also, in which directories are the files— are they within /wp-content/et/cache?
    I can’t promise anything, sorry, but it might help with diagnosis.
